I went for a drive yesterday in hopes of getting to the top of Mount
Elden. The road was a little too rough for my Saturn to handle so I
didn't quite make it to the top. I was able to leave the car and walk a
few hundred yard to the crest and get this nice panorama of Doney Park.
The view is looking to the East.
If you click the image to see the large version, you can see a little red
arrow pointing to my house, just to the left of one of the tree
branches. The ghosting of some of the trees is an artifact of the
panorama process.
In the mid-foreground, you can see several trees that were damaged by a
forest fire that happened back in 1977. To the right you can see a grove
of aspen trees which is visible from the valley below.
